Big surprise follows PSU's NIT title
◊ After Penn State won the NIT title Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, the Lions were treated to another bit of good news. Rivals.com Top-100 basketball prospect Taran Buie verbally committed to Penn State, marking one of the biggest recruiting grabs in a long time.
Buie holds offers from several ACC schools, including Maryland, a few Big East teams, including Elite Eight Pittsburgh, Providence, Rutgers and Syracuse, as well as 2009 Sweet Sixteen team Xavier. Ohio State is also recruiting him.
Buie is Talor Battle's half-brother. However, we have to keep in mind that it's still very early in the recruiting process, and things could change. But it's definitely a big boost for the program.

Which final four is Xavier in?
One of the final four teams to lose to Pitt
That was my fault. In my effort to get the post up quickly, I blew it with that mistake. Sorry. It was late, and I was really tired.
FYI to readers, Xavier was in the Sweet Sixteen this year.
