Notes: Alabama is the best team in college football. This wasn't some fluky upset of Florida; it was complete domination of the Gators from start to finish. As for Texas, I don't believe in punishing teams just for close calls in November instead of September. Nebraska's defense is for real, and includes the should-be Heisman front runner, even if Ndamukong Suh has no chance to win it. Everything else falls into place, but was a bit weird with so many teams taking the final week off.

How can you put Texas over TCU?

If I remember correctly, Alabama had to block a Tennessee FG as time expired to stay undefeated, and that game was in Bryant-Denny. Why is a close call against Nebraska worse than a close call against a worse Tennessee team? When I rank teams, I look at the entire schedule, not just one game. TCU beat Air Force by three, Clemson by four; while their wins over BYU and Utah aren't any better than UT's Big XII conference wins. You could come back and say the same thing about UT's schedule, but I'm defending my own opinion about where Texas and TCU should be ranked. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying that I'm right! Haha.
