'For-seer,' or 'For-see-ay'
Ok Michigan, it's time to come clean. How the hell are we supposed to say Tate Forcier's name? Is this going to turn into another CJ Bacher thing? (Was is 'Ba-shay' or 'Ba-sher?') The BTN said Forcier's name as 'For-see-ay,' but that was the first time I've heard it pronounced that way in the main stream. Anyone with any definitive info on this, please let me know.
While on the Michigan Spring Game, I am going to offer a completely unsolicited word of advice to Wolverines fans: Chill.
Really, just chill out. Forcier's performance (yes, I watched it) was not bad, but it was against a bunch of the same guys responsible for this last year:
...and this:
...oh yeah, let's not forget the best one of all (the fun begins at 1:39):
(Out of the sliver of respect I have for Michigan, I left out the Toledo game highlights)
Granted, some of the players gone off that defense will help by just not being there this year, but that means grossly unexperienced youngsters will take their place. No amount of talent can overcome lack of experience when the rest of the team is the definition of mediocrity.
Michigan fans need to remember that expectations have been lowered to such a level that just the vague glimmer of an effective offense does not mean it's time for "We're Back" talk. Yet.
