UNC wants home-and-home

North Carolina head coach Butch Davis said in an article today that the Tar Heels have sent letters to numerous high-profile programs, expressing interest a home-and-home agreement. One of those recipients was the Lasch Building.

"We have sent letters to Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Oklahoma," Davis said. "We've tried to reach out and get a future home-and-home series."

Although this isn't stop-the-presses big news, it sure is interesting. We've been hearing for months now that Penn State is looking for some decent competition from the Southeast, particularly the ACC. The problem is that the article went on to mention that the earliest opening for a home-and-home would be in 2012. Still, I'd take that.
