PSU lands defensive lineman

Central York defensive lineman Kyle Baublitz (☆☆☆ Scout; ☆☆☆☆ Rivals) announced yesterday that he will play football for Penn State. He had scholarship offers from nearly every major program east of the Mississippi, including Pitt (Ha!), West Virginia, Rutgers, Florida State, Boston College, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. This is another Larry Johnson, Sr. Special. Baublitz is also listed as a tight end prospect.

Baublitz (how perfect is that name for a front-seven defender?) said last week he was still up in the air about where he was going to play, but now he said that it was Happy Valley all along.

"I kind of had the decision that I was going to decide for Penn State, I was just going to make it on my mom's birthday."
