Evan Royster is "very sick"

So much for another 1,000-yard season from Penn State's Evan Royster. According to his facebook page, the redshirt junior said "Evan Royster is sick.... very sick..."

Not sure what kind of sick, whether it's just a normal bug, or if it's the freakin' swine flu. If the latter is the case, then Penn State had better quarantine their star, pronto.

Let's hope Stephfon Green, Brandon Beachum and Brent Carter are ready for a major bump in carries this week. And of course, we wish Evan a speedy recovery!

*I updated this week's DEPTH CHART to account for Royster's possible benching, along with a few other tweaks.

Oh jeez. This can only make you wonder. Thank goodness we have two running backs capable of picking up after Royster. But imagine if the swine flu or any flu hit a position we are lacking depth in (don't want to jinx it).
