Don't expect anything in the top 10 to stay the same over the next few weeks. Top teams will meet, hopefully picking off a few of the undefeateds. Otherwise, the BCS will be in a world of public-relations hurt. But for now, here are the top 25 teams.

Notes: Don't jump through the screen. Has anyone else been struck by the amount of credit being heaped onto Florida for the Georgia win? Texas just beat up Oklahoma State, which beat up Georgia. I figure Alabama and Florida will meet in the SEC title game, which will work everything out between the two. Cincinnati is the only team in the top five that has not played a game down to its opponent. Until further notice, the Bearcats are the second best team in America. Oregon bitch slapped USC, which has to be rewarded, no matter how overrated (but no by me!) the Trojans were. Iowa can go sit in the corner (outside the top five) until it plays like it deserves to be there. And you know what? Penn State can join the Hawkeyes for a while. I'm not sure either team understands that if Ohio State jumps out to a lead, the Bucks won't crumble like Indiana or Northwestern. The rest of the top 25 is a mess, and doesn't really matter until about week 12.
