ZN Top 25: Week 3

1. Oklahoma (LW: 1) I'm still sticking to OU as the top team, right now.
2. LSU (2) The Tigers' defense is just plain nasty.
3. USC (3) Lucky for USC, Nebraska couldn't plug the gaping holes in the front line.
4. Florida (4) This was impressive; Tebow is looking much better, but then again, anyone can win with that supporting cast.
5. West Virgina (6) The 'Neers showed just how fast they are; defense adjusted nicely against UMD.
6. Penn State (5) Arguably Morelli's best game yet; too bad the coaching calls made him look average.
7. California (7) Held a good offense down all day.
8. Ohio State (15) Defense kept OSU in the game; Offense got them out alive and well.
9. Oregon (9) Ducks are obviously a top-10 team right now; schedule will prove a lot.
10. Rutgers (11) So it was over the FCS; Knights still looked sharp.
11. Boston College (25) Manhandled the ACC's former-best team.
12. Wisconsin (13) Badgers didn't improve this week; defense needs work.
13. Texas (14) 'Horns woke up late again; UCF is, though, a quality team under O'Leary.
14. Alabama (NR) In a sea of unimpressive teams, the Tide stood out.
15. Georgia Tech (10) BC could be the class of the ACC right now, but GT looked very bad.
16. USF (18) Bulls better prepare for a bunch of offers coming Leavitt's way.
17. South Carolina (21) Can the 'Cocks keep it going?
18. Clemson (20) Tigers could, could finish with nine wins.
19. Arkansas (17) If you "expect" to win, you'll lose.
20. Louisville (12) Kentucky is a good team, but UL's defense didn't put up much of a fight.
21. Georgia (24) That's it, get out all of that anger; it doesn't get any easier.
22. Virginia Tech (22) Tied at the half with Ohio won't get you far.
23. Missouri (23) This team is notorious for tanking; we'll see.
24. Michigan State (NR) You may find this one odd, but I like what the Spartans are doing.
25. Arizona State (NR) It's the invasion of the "States" this week.

Dropped Out:
UCLA (8) Totally overlooked the Utes.
Nebraska (16) Failing to stop the run, even against USC, won't keep you in the Top-25 long.
Tennessee (19) Just couldn't match up; longer road ahead than expected this season.
