Southerners take college football VERY seriously
We've all been there before. Your team loses. A fan of the other team mocks you and your team. You get mad. But that's where most normal people end it. Not in the South.
"A man and woman were shot dead after an argument that witnesses said started over an Alabama-LSU football game..."I'll admit, I was very pissed off the rest of this weekend. I'm sure I even said "I could kill someone right now," at some point. But I really can't imagine actually doing it.
"According to witness accounts to investigators, Dennis Smith, an LSU fan, called Williams, an Alabama fan, after the game, and the Smiths then went to Williams' home, where a physical altercation led to the shooting... Investigators said Dennis Smith had a pistol and Williams had a shotgun and fired."Maybe the SEC is perceived by the main stream media as the "best" conference, because if it was't, they'd storm the studios and newsrooms with guns-a-blazin'. Second Amendment, my ass.

Honestly, you've never met an aOSU fan that you didn't think might do the same to you?
bd,
Pretty damn inappropriate comment to this, you douchebag. I suggest you worry more about winding down the season of the Purdue Quitters.
Ken
Man, I came all the way from Boiled Sports just to read the horrible comment bd made. And that's it? Gees, that's not even bad.
Cool out Ken. Grow a pair.
Ken, settle down, tough guy. It actually wasn't a joke.... point is, there are hateful and ignorant people out there who take the success/failure of their teams WAY too seriously. Clearly, though, you're not one of those overreacters.
Oh, wait.
